Rochester, New York, September 4, 2010 -- Star United trumpeter Rachel Rodriquez and percussionist Scott McCoy both won their respective performance categories at the Drum Corps Associates (DCA) Individual and Ensemble (I&E) Championships in Rochester, New York on September 3, 2010.
Scott is no stranger to DCA's I&E, winning the snare category prior to 2010. His award winning performance is captured in the video presented above.

Rodriquez is in her second season with Star United. She previously performed with the Star of Indiana Drum and Bugle Corps, Brass Theater, and Blast!. Most recently, she was a soloist with the Star Alumni Corps.
