Pittsford, New York, September 6,
2009 -- Star United
will again offer free online access to its rehearsal at the residence of Timm and Linea Knoerzer's
residence in Pittsford.
Timm and Linea have hosted Star United
at their residence on Labor Day weekends since 2007 for brunch. In
an unprecedented move, the couple offered Star United the
opportunity to rehearse in their back yard last year. A normally quiet
neighborhood was then transformed into raucous cacophony of mini
corps goodness.
During the same rehearsal, Star alum Rob Dorocke utilized his IT skills to configure a live video and audio
feed via the internet of the rehearsal and subsequent runthrough. A
short promo was also shot during the visit and edited by Dorocke:
Oddly, the Knoerzers were not evicted
from their neighborhood and have again invited Star United to
rehearse and brunch at their home.
Here's a recording taking from the live
web cast. A runthrough begins at the 12:00 minute mark:
Special thanks are extended to the
Knoerzers for opening their home to the corps. The time we're able
to spend with them is always enjoyable and relaxing. It's the
closest thing to a Labor Day break the corps is able to enjoy each
year. Thank you Tim, Linea, and family!!!
